CMA CGM: Service improvement announced – Asia Mogadishu, Mozex and Noura
CMA CGM has announced updates to 3 of it’s services:
ASIA MOGADISHU service improvement
In a continuous effort to further increase their level of service and reliability to Mogadishu, Somalia from Asia, starting with M/V COSCO OSAKA voyage 0412DW1MA ETA Mombasa 07/01.2019
- Cargo direct from China ports on ASEA KENYA service will benefit of one transhipment to Somalia through Mombasa hub, instead of 2
- Transit Times are improved up to 2 days, Mogadishu will be reached from Shanghai in 32 days, Ningbo 31 days, Singapore 23 days
ASEA KENYA new rotation: Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Port Kelang – Colombo – Mombasa hub – Mogadishu (via Noura service)
MOZEX Service improvement
Shortening its voyage by 7 days, MOZEX service will call Maputo directly after Pointe des Galets. Tamatave will be served on a weekly basis in relay with their dedicated feeder service through their regional hub in Reunion.
The service change is effective M/V BEETHOVEN voyage 04J2DW1MA starting her rotation in Singapore ETS 30/12/2018 and Pointe des Galets ETA 10/01/2019.
MOZEX new rotation: Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Pointe des Galets – Tamatave (by feeder) – Maputo – Beira – Nacala – Port Louis – Singapore
NOURA Service improvement
There has been announced a service improvement connecting Middle East to East Africa for their lead product NOURA service.
Effective from M/V CMA CGM MANET voyage 01 L17S1MA ETS Jebel Ali 03/01/2019
- Direct product with a comprehensive coverage of East Africa and Indian Ocean markets, Noura service will benefit of a 6th sister ship of 2,200 TEU to address the recurrent port congestion
- Mombasa is added in the port coverage to permit significant service improvement for Asia cargo bound to Somalia and transiting via Kenya hub
NOURA new rotation: Jebel Ali – Mombasa – Mogadishu – Longoni – Nacala (fortnightly) – Beira (fortnightly) – Port Victoria – Jebel Ali
