PIL Improves Far East/North America West Coast Portfolio Joining UASC and CSCL

January 27, 2014

Pacific International Lines, PIL, launches its new transpacific service, ANW, which will connect the Far East and North America’s West Coast. PIL will join the current operators UASC (AWN1) and CSCL (ANW1) from February 18th on. The Singaporean shipping line will send its vessel XIN SHAN TOU to be the first sailing the new route. While PIL already covers Vancouver through slots on AP2 (OOCL and ZIM) and APS (Hapag-Lloyd), it will be the first time that the liner calls the port of Seattle. Currently there are 6 vessels deployed on this weekly service bringing the average capacity to 4,180 TEU.

ANW: Busan – Seattle – Vancouver – Nansha – Hong Kong – Yantian – Ningbo – Shanghai – Busan
