Hapag-Lloyd which used to be slotting partner on CMA CGM’s ECS service connecting North Europe and the Caribbean now becomes an operator deploying 1 out of 6 vessels on the service. The German liner branded the service SW3 and sent its vessel ANNA SCHULTE to sail the route. HAPAG LLOYD’s upgrade goes in line with the increase of capacity of the service which started in December 2013. The service is still on a weekly basis with an overall rotation time of 42 days.
