Arkas Line’s Italy-Algiers Service (IAS) has had a new rotation from the end of October. The connection, operated by Emes Feedering, is offering new calls in Italy, at La Spezia and Vado Ligure, instead of former calls at Genoa and Livorno. The change enables new connections to Algiers, in addition to Barcelona and Valencia.
The IAS is operated with an eight-day frequency from week 43 onwards, with two vessels deployed – the 1,024 TEU “Reecon Whale” and the 1,139 TEU Martine A.
They sail from La Spezia to Vado Ligure, Barcelona, Valencia and Algiers before returning to La Spezia.
