With a focus to expand their business network in the South American market and to meet the growing demand for quality services in this region, OOCL is going to introduce their Intra-America product, namely the Intra-America Pacific 1 (IAP 1) from January 2019. Their new product will provide customers with competitive and reliable services between east coast of United States and west coast of South America via Colon with calls to strategic ports such as Buenaventura (Colombia), Guayaquil (Ecuador), Callao (Peru), Arica, Iquique and San Antonio (Chile). The new service is supported by ECC2 on the southbound and ECC1, ECC2 and ECX1 on the northbound.
Port Rotation (IAP 1): Colon – Buenaventura – Guayaquil – Callao – Arica – Iquique – San Antonio – Callao – Guayaquil – Buenaventura – Colon
A second South America East Coast product, namely the Transpacific Latin Atlantic 1 (TLA 1), will also be introduced from December 2018. This new product will provide customers with competitive and reliable services between the Far East and South America East Coast with direct calls to strategic ports such as Santos, Rio De Janeiro (Brazil), Montevideo (Uruguay) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
Port Rotation (TLA 1): Shanghai – Ningbo – Yantian – Hong Kong – Singapore – Rio De Janeiro – Santos – Paranagua – Navegantes – Montevideo – Buenos Aires – Rio Grande – Navegantes – Paranagua – Santos – Singapore – Hong Kong – Shanghai – Ningbo – Yantian
Commencement of services:
- ECC2 + IAP 1 – effective with the EVER LIVING departing from Savannah on January 26 and CSCL SAN JOSE transshipping via Colon on February 9
- TLA 1: effective with the CMA CGM JACQUES JUNIOR departing from Shanghai on December 30
